Closing Reception: Signs & Wonders and Weltansicht: 세계관

Join us for the closing reception of two solo exhibitions at Red Giant: Signs & Wonders by Kyle Kogut and Weltansicht: 세계관 by Kyoungho Isaac Kim.

Signs & Wonders presents sculptural drawings and floor sculptures that consider the human impulse to search for signs and connect images, histories, places, and objects into systems of belief, drawing on religion, propaganda, conspiracy culture, horror films, ufology, and televangelism.

Weltansicht: 세계관 presents new paintings in oil, acrylic, and Hanji by Red Giant resident artist Kyoungho Isaac Kim, layering Korean imagery from the internet over Western cultural imagery to consider the post imperial aesthetic that surrounds us.

The same evening, Flying House Arts Collective hosts the Christmas Gallery Dump Tree in the project space from 5 to 9pm.

Red Giant is located at 403 N. Paca Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. To make an appointment, DM us on Instagram @redgiantgallery, email us at redgiantgallery@gmail.com, or call (410) 989-1430.
