Who we are. A peek behind the curtain.

Bromo was founded in 2012 to build a thriving arts neighborhood in the heart of downtown Baltimore.

Today, it’s morphed into a 117-acre epicenter of creativity, flanked by Mount Vernon and the Inner Harbor and anchored by landmarks like the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower and Lexington Market.

We’re proud of it and the hundreds of artists, patrons, and organizations that call our district home.

The district thrives thanks to its diverse, generous, and driven community.

Want to get involved? Consider giving back. If you already give—thank you!
