BMA Lexington Market

Museum & Cultural Site
BMA Lexington Market is a branch of the Baltimore Museum of Art where visitors come to create, share their stories, and participate in public programming. Our completely renovated space builds on the success of our previous stall in the former East Market, giving visitors even more room to experience and create art.
Located inside of America’s oldest market, BMA Lexington Market honors Baltimore’s rich history in partnership with local organizations and creatives. Since the stall’s opening on June 27, 2019, we’ve explored the topics of food and its access and systems, as well as the legacies of our communities, through workshops, performances, artist talks, screenings, and more.
Admission is always free. Visit our stall, make art, read from and contribute to our non-circulating library, or propose a program of your own.
