Anne Marie Rooney

Anne Marie Rooney is a poet and artist living in Baltimore. She is the author of No Beautiful and Spitshine, both from Carnegie Mellon University Press. Her poetry has been the recipient of the Iowa Review Award, the Gulf Coast Poetry Prize, and others. With artist Sam Sheffield, she creates poetic games as LORRAINE. Since 2010, she has been collaborating with painter Julia Rooney, using the U.S. Postal Service as a medium for art production, distribution, and exhibition.
