Bromo Art Walk Fall 2026

An evening of open studios, exhibits, live performances, and installations!

This multi-block, multi-sensory night on the town showcases the Bromo Arts District in all its glory: open galleries, live performances, imaginative projects, and in-person engagement, all taking place on Thursday, September 10, from 5-9pm.

View information below about the participating artists, venues, and retailers. Event maps will be available at all participating locations during the event and the digital brochure can be downloaded in advance. Check out the event Google Map to help navigate the district and to view all venues, retailers, and public art locations.
And for fast travel between venues, hop on a Lime scooter or bike that will be available throughout the district.

For 16 years, Micah E. Wood has been a fixture in Baltimore’s creative landscape, bringing the city’s diverse musical communities and creative spirit into his work as a photographer, musician, and educator.

DJ AAVE is a Baltimore-based drag artist, music producer, and founder of AAVE Studios.

Please show your free Art Walk Eventbrite registration (digitally or printed) at the door. Enter through 421 N. Tyson Street, located between Mulberry and Franklin Streets. Once the courtyard capacity is reached, new attendees will only be let in as people leave. Thank you for understanding.

Join artist Ashley Minner Jones for a hands-on exploration of one of the oldest known photographic processes, salt paper printing. We’ll experiment with mixed media and collage techniques to add depth and texture to prints, while reflecting on our personal, everyday contributions to the unique city of Baltimore through time.

Create your own nature story in this interactive art therapy experience using all natural supplies.

Attend the opening reception of STREET, a new group exhibition in the galleries, curated by artists Jim Conyers and Matt Klos featuring works about noticing and exploring variations on our daily routes. A collaborative photographic exhibition investigating the concept of walls as a mundane yet powerful political and psychological symbol. We live with these structures that can both isolate and protect, bear witness and imprison, that carry the marks of human contact, and carry the weight of division. This show features works by Ben Marcin, Brian P. Miller, Dimitra Lazaridou, Leland Rice, and Bernd Radtke.

Minor Monuments, a group exhibition of new work by five sculptors working in stone: Candice Russell, Sebastian Martorana, Louis Sarowsky, Stephen Shaheen, and Paul Tucci. We are also featuring a solo exhibition by Chris Clark.

Experience DJ scratch sessions (5-7pm), performances by Femi The Drifish (7pm) and Keturah (7:30pm), and DJs and an open mic to close out the evening (8pm).

Step inside Studio Social, Blakwater’s newest addition, an interactive music and entertainment experience where creativity becomes the main event. Guests are invited to enjoy in-studio karaoke and perform in our immersive studio environment. No musical experience or talent is required.

Qrcky invites you into their home studio for live painting and bronze pouring artwork demonstrations.

Visit the booth at Everyman Theatre to see highlights of the Asian Art collection with touch materials and free posters.

WESTMINSTER HALL & BURYING GROUND: 519 W. Fayette St. // 5-8pm

Duck through a metal doorway into the catacombs under Westminster Hall and Burying Ground to see 150 year graves of famous and not so famous Baltimoreans, with our own Edgar Allan Poe’s gravesite standing sentinel outside.

WOMBWORK PRODUCTIONS: 847 N. Howard St., 2nd Floor // 7-7:40pm

WombWork Productions brings social justice theater to the streets of Bromo. Through an interactive workshop with live performance excerpt from What They Don’t See, young artists share original stories exploring the realities of the juvenile justice system, the school-to-prison pipeline, and pathways toward healing and change.

XOXO GALLERY: 218 W. Saratoga St. 3rd Floor // 5-9pm

Odds + Ends, curated by Sanzi Kermes, explores the intersectionality between an artist’s studio practice and their work.
